American rock band Paramore was formed in 2004 in Franklin, Tennessee. The band consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro. Paramore's music style has been regarded as alternative rock, pop punk, pop rock, power pop, emo pop, and new wave. Released in 2009, Brand New Eyes presents Paramore as a stronger, leaner, and altogether more consistent band. "Careful" and "Ignorance" are two of the group's most aggressive tunes to date, receiving much of the spotlight.
