T-Bone Walker was the pioneer of the blues, shaping the genre with his trailblazing use of early electric guitars. T-Bone Walker was the first to make a guitar wail, cry out and buckle under the weight of his emotion. Much of his output was recorded from 1946 to 1948, including his most famous song, "Call It Stormy Monday (But Tuesday Is Just as Bad)". Walker won a Best Ethnic or Traditional Folk Recording Grammy Award in 1971 for Good Feelin′. In 1980, T-Bone Walker was posthumously inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame, and in 1987, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
