Post-metal band Astronoid was formed in Lowell, Massachusetts in 2012. Combining elements of black metal, shoegaze, punk, progressive metal, and dream pop, the band created a cross-blended medley of genres. They have released three studio albums, Air (2016), the eponymous Astronoid (2019) and Radiant Bloom (2022).
