Αlternative country band Beachwood Sparks was formed in Los Angeles in 1997. The group weren't the first band to combine psychedelia and country music, but in the 2000s, their concoction proved immensely enjoyable and influential. They released three studio albums: Beachwood Sparks (2000), Once We Were Trees (2001), and The Tarnished Gold (2012).
