Spanish artist, musician and producer Marcos Crespo has named his solo project Depresión Sonora. The lexical field of melancholy perfectly fits his post-punk songs and the way he sings them, in Spanish, in a foreboding tone, with a preference for spoken-word. Loneliness, lies and the anguish of love are some of the topics he explores, relying on inspiration from new wave and post-punk of the eighties.
