Ukrainian EBM and synth-pop group Kurs Valüt was formed in 2017 in Dnipro. The duo is searching for a local musical identity reflecting their experience of post-industrial eastern Ukraine. The result is a very minimal sound inspired by music from coldwave to italo disco and lyrics abundant with references to contemporary Ukrainian cultural phenomena.
