Instrumental post-metal band Russian Circles create a complex clamor of sprawling guitars, propulsive drumming, and heavy basslines. First emerging with the promising 2006 debut Enter, the group became one of the leading post-metal acts of the 2010s, receiving wide acclaim for ambitious albums such as Empros (2011) and Guidance (2016). Continuing into the next decade, they released the raw, direct Gnosis in 2022.
