Sirenia is a gothic metal band from Norway, founded in 2001 by Morten Veland. Sirenia combines strong melodic instrumentals, keyboard synthesis, and guitar works with light, female vocals, previously by Fabienne Gondamin, Henriette Bordvik, Monika Pedersen, and Ailyn, and currently by Emmanuelle Zoldan, male death vocals, and a choir. Nine Destinies and a Downfall is the third studio album by Sirenia, released in 2007.
