Hard rock band from Los Angeles Sixx:A.M. was formed in 2007 by Nikki Sixx, DJ Ashba, and James Michael, and was a side project of Sixx, who was also at the time bass guitarist for Mötley Crüe. Their sound has been described as a combination of hard rock, alternative metal, and post-grunge. Modern Vintage is the third album by SixxAM, released in 2014.
