Viking and folk metal band Skálmöld was formed in 2009 in Reykjavík, Iceland. The band combines the sounds of the traditional Icelandic music and metal and the lyrics are inspired by the Norse mythology and Icelandic sagas. Vögguvísur Yggdrasils is the 4th studio album by Skálmöld, released in 2016.
